MANIFESTO
We are our own most valuable tools. As communities both intimate and expansive, we possess the resources to achieve nearly any goal; to conquer most all challenges. Especially crucial in times of economic collapse within the capitalist structure of our society, we must take up arms with our friends and fellow workers to survive free from the system. Yes! We can educate ourselves and others. We can grow our own food, take charge of our own health and well-being; we can employ bicycles as our primary transportation and arrange rideshares or use of mass transit when riding bikes is not feasible. We can build our own furniture, mend our own clothing, produce our own music, and publish our own literature. Created to foster personal and community strength through D.I.Y. punk ethics, The Burning River D.I.Y. Collective operates to empower us with knowledge and support to function above the limitations imposed by our society, and to bring all our comrades up with us.
